Alpe d'Huez Cycle Tour | Aug 30 - Sept 6, 2025

Our trip includes: 

• Accommodation in Alpe d'Huez in a stunning alpine chalet with a private hot tub/infinity pool, daily breakfast and evening dinner included
• Overnight trip with breakfast and dinner included 
• Tour cycling jersey supplied by our friends at Cycle Huez 
• Bike hire option at Cycle Huez (early-prebooking essential as this can not be guaranteed)
• Bike build and technical assistance as standard
• Transfers to and from Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport 
• Sag support on all rides
• Flights, lunches, extra beverages and gratuities are not included in the price of the trip. ​ 

Even though our group will have the opportunity ride every day, all rides are optional.

 

We will be enjoying the stunning challenges of the following climbs and descents*:

• Col du Télégraphe: gateway to the Galibier Av 3.4% length 4.7km, total ascent 157m
• Col du Galibier: approaching from Val Loire Av 6.9% length 17.5km, total ascent 1213m
• Col du Lauteret: arriving from the stunning base in Bourg d’Oisans Av 4.2% length 33.9km, total ascent 1427m
• Col du Glandon: Av 7% length 20.9km, total ascent 1471m
• Col de la Croix de Fer : Av 5.1% length 29.1km, total ascent 1494m
• Les Lacets de Montvernier : Av 8.1% length 3.4km, total ascent 277m
• Col de Sarenne : Av 7.5% length 12.8km, total ascent 958m
• Pas de la Confession: a stunning link balcony road to Alpe d’Huez via Villard-Reculas Av 5.8% length 18.4km, total ascent 1067m
• 21 virages Alp d’Huez: starting the climb from Bourg d’Oisans Av 8% length 13.9km, total ascent 1118m

 

The trip will conclude with the group following the famous La Marmotte Granfondo route over a two day period with a few optional excursions along the way. This will require an overnight stay away from our home in Alpe d'Huez. The final day of this tour will see us taking on the final climbs of Telgraphe, Galibier and of course the finish at the top of Alpe d'Huez.

The grande finale will see us as a team make one epic final assault up the famous 21 Virages (bends) of Alpe d'Huez. We recommend a celebration at the Alpe d’Huez podium and a refreshment in our favorite bar The Indiana!
